Atlantis Resort - Dining Plans
Dining Plans are optional and can be purchased when making room reservations or up to 3 days prior to arrival date. Note that children under age 7 eat for free when dining plans are purchased. (comment: to get or not get the dining plan? Most guests do well with the dining plans as they are designed to save you money. However, if you tend to skip meals or eat very lightly, you are probably better off without dining plans.)

• Dining plans, rates and features are subject to change without notice.
• Dining plans can be purchased up until 3 days prior to arrival. (comment: at check-in, sometimes guests will be offered another opportunity to purchase dining plans, but this is fairly rare.)
• The 15% mandatory gratuity is not included in the price of either dining plan and will be automatically charged based on the actual dining check for each meal, not the cost of the plan.
• Children 6 years old and under eat free when dining with parents who are participating in a dining plan. They must select from the children’s menu in those restaurants that offer them.
• Children 7-11 years are required to purchase a child’s dining plan. They must select from the children’s menu in restaurants that offer them. Should children 7-11 choose to order from the full menu, they will be charged at full retail prices.
• Special children’s menus will be provided in Café at The Great Hall of Waters, Atlas Bar & Grill, Murray’s Delicatessen, Bahamian Club, Casa d’Angelo, Chop Stix and Bimini Road.
• Guests who choose to dine at Carmines while on the CGP or GDP will only be seated with other persons dining on a CDP or GDP plan. (comment: groups or large multiple room families traveling together will only be able to dine together at Carmines if everybody is either on or not on the dining plan.)
• Dining plans are available for a minimum of two nights and must be purchased for the entire length of stay. Plans begin with dinner on the day of a guest’s arrival and end with breakfast on their day of departure.
• The value of unused meals will be non-refundable and may not be redeemed at non-participating restaurants.
• Alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and juice are not included for dinner; juice is included for breakfast only.
• All persons sharing a room (adults and children) must purchase the same dining plans. Guests 12 years and over are considered adults and are required to purchase the same dining plan as their parents therefore adult dining prices apply.
• Dinner reservations are required for Mesa Grill, Café at the Great Hall of Waters, Bahamian Club, Casa d’Angelo and Chop Stix; reservations are required at Carmines only if a party includes 6 or more persons. To avoid the $50.00 per person “no show” fee, reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to actual dining time.
• Please note that high chairs and booster seats are not available at Mesa Grill or Casa D’Angelo.
• Restaurant hours of operation, openings, restaurants names, as well as participating restaurants in the dining plans, are subject to change without notice. Surcharges may apply to some menu items. (comment: during off-peak season, 1 or more restaurants may be closed for renovations, usually during Fall.)
• Dining attire guidelines exist for all restaurants.
