Passport Requirements: Effective January 23, 2007, passports are now required for persons of all ages, including U.S. citizens, returning to the U.S. from ALL international destinations. Birth certificates with photo ID are no longer acceptable in such cases as the Bahamas, Mexico, and Canada. The New pasport regulations does not apply to U.S. citizens returning directly from U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drinking Water: The Atlantis is a modern resort with sophisticated facilities. The water is generally safe to drink as most people do well with the water. However, quality bottled water is available for sale throughout the hotel.
Wheelchair, Mobility Scooter & Stroller Rentals: Should you require mobility assistance during your stay, you may arrange for a rental delivery to your guestroom. Day rates start at $20 per day for wheel chairs and strollers and $35 per day for scooters. A $250 refundable security deposit will be required.
Occupancy age requirements: Occupants of Atlantis Paradise Island must be 21 years of age or be accompanied by at least one adult age 21 or older. Occupants under 21 are permitted to have their own room however the accompanying adult is required to reside in the same tower. The Atlantis will guarantee requested adjoining rooms in situations when children under 18 are involved.
Tipping and Gratuities: Our packages already include the 12% tax which includes taxes, fees, gratuities for the hotel services, and the energy surcharge. Any extra services that you may purchase such as meals will have a 15% gratuity automatically included within the bill.
Internet Access: Wireless service is available in many of the lobbies, lounge areas, and pool decks. A flat fee of $10 will apply allowing you up to 24 hours of service. Atlantis now offers dial-up Internet access from your Guest Room for $.50 per minute. Requirements: Microsoft Windows CE, 95, 98, ME, 2000 or NT 4.0, Macintosh, Web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape), Dial-up Modem, Standard Modem Cable. The Business Center also provides internet access for a fee.
Business Center: Located outside of the Conference Center, provides worldwide fax and telecommunications services, self-serve computer rentals, laser and ink jet printers, a laptop docking station, Internet connection, stationery sales and photocopying. Also offered: graphic design and typesetting services, meeting or conference signage, temporary staffing and a temporary office.
Babysitting: In-room babysitting services are available. All baby sitters are CPR-certified. Rates are per hour.

A maximum of four children are allowed per sitter, there is a three hour minimum requirement and cancellations must be received at least three hours in advance. Guests calling in advance to book babysitting may do so one week prior to travel. Rates are subject to change.

I am traveling with young kids, any recommendations for which tower to book? The Atlantis is a great place for kids with all the water parks and attractions. But being such a large resort, too much walking to the various activities can be draining on both kids and parents. With young kids, we recommend that you book in either the Coral Tower which is centrally located to all the activities or the Beach Tower which is near the beach, many pools and restaurants. However, one of the biggest attractions for young children is Splashers, a children's water play area, which is located next to Royal Towers. While children are welcomed at the Cove, keep in mind that the Cove is orientated more towards adults with such features as the adult-only Cabana Club as well as one of the pools being adult-only.
Are the Waterslides free of charge? Yes, the waterslides, pools, and beaches are free of charge for all guests of the Atlantis.
What are the dress requirements to eat at the various restaurants? There are many different types of restaurants at the Atlantis for all different budget levels and taste. Most restaurants are casual and jackets are not required in any of the restaurants.
When is the cheapest time to book the Atlantis hotel? Is there an off season? The Atlantis off-peak seasons are during school seasons: September, October, November & December before Christmas. January, May, and early June is semi-peak season. Holiday periods such as Christmas week, Presidents week, Easter week, Spring break should be booked many months in advance.
What are the casino hours and age requirements? The Casino is a 24-hour casino and you must be 18 to participate. All ages are permitted to enter and walk through the casino since it connects Royal Towers and Coral Towers.
Kosher & Dietary Needs: The Atlantis offers dining options that cater to special dietary needs. Guests who require special attention to their diets should provide the Chef’s Office with full details for special requests at least two weeks prior to arrival. On arrival, a culinary executive will arrange the times and locations for requested meals. Meals will be carefully prepared concerning food allergies or dietary restrictions.
